On February 28th, local time in Indonesia, Huayou Cobalt's Huaneng New Materials (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. successfully held the mechanical completion ceremony for its '50,000 tons/year high-nickel power battery ternary precursor material project' Phase II at the Weda Bay Industrial Park. This accomplishment signifies the full construction of the first new energy lithium battery ternary material industry chain invested by Huayou in Indonesia, including both Phase I and Phase II projects. It marks a significant step forward in international manufacturing for Huayou products! The business layout of overseas resources, international manufacturing, and the global market has achieved another major breakthrough.

On February 25, Hurun Research Institute recently released the 2024 Hurun China 500 list, and Huayou Cobalt has once again secured its position on the prestigious ranking, placing 199th. This achievement underscores the company’s exceptional corporate value and industry influence, reflecting both its deep cultivation in the new energy lithium battery materials sector and its pivotal role in the global industrial chain.

Recently, Huayue Nickel and Cobalt (Indonesia) Co., Ltd. has been awarded the prestigious AA-level certification by the Human Rights Committee of the IMIP Morowali Industrial Park in Indonesia for its outstanding employee management system and human rights practices. With a remarkable score of 240 points in the 2024 Employee Rights Leadership Evaluation, the company solidified its leadership in human resource management and labor rights protection.

Huayou Cobalt convened its 2025 Annual Work Conference at its headquarters in Tongxiang on January 21-22.
